Trip FAQs

It is absolutely safe to travel to Turkey. In fact on our excursions we have met a lot of solo travelers too.

Visas and flights are not included as we have travelers coming from different cities of the country and the flight cost varies depending on the city of departure. However we would be guiding you for booking flights and applying for visas.

We will be staying at 3 star hotels everywhere. Rooms are generally on double sharing basis with people of the same gender sharing a room unless requested otherwise by the traveler.

Our team will help guide you through the visa process for sure. Indian nationals having a valid Schengen/UK/USA visa can apply online and get an e-visa

If your visa gets rejected you can reapply (if time permits) with the help of the visa consultant. Based on the reason for visa rejection you will be guided to add/change certain documents for re-submission. We generally suggest everyone to apply for visas as early as possible so that there is buffer of time to reapply in case of rejection. In case it gets rejected the second time then we refund the money back minus the deposit amount.

Yes. Although limited, vegetarian options and suggestions are provided and taken care of on the trip.

There are 2 internal flights with baggage allowance of 15 kgs check in baggage and 7 kgs carry on baggage.

If you want to extend your trip you can very well do so. Just let us know in advance (preferably at the time of booking) if you would like to extend the trip from Antalya or Istanbul. If you are looking to extend your trip from Antalya we will refund the internal Antalya – Istanbul sector flight only if it is not booked.

There are 3 ways:
– TAXI: You can either take a direct taxi from airport to hotel (You can use Uber or download the app BiTaksi for cabs)
– SHUTTLE BUS You can take HAVAIST airport shuttle. Go to exit 13 and take an elevator 2 floors down. From there you can take a shuttle bus to Beyazit square. From Beyazit square to Sultanahmet the distance is approximately 1.5 km. Havaist buses run around the clock with every 20/25-minute route, and their ticket costs only 87₺ which you can pay by card while sitting in the bus. The bus station is located at the -2 airport level. In that area, you can also purchase an Istanbulkart, valid for all public transportation means, even for public toilets.
– METRO The Istanbul airport Metro Line M11 now links Istanbul Airport to Istanbul. Thus, if you opt for a subway ride from Istanbul Airport to Istanbul city center, you’ll have to head to IST airport subway station, lying right outside Exit 11, on the front side of the car park. After hopping on Metro Line M11, you’ll disembark at Gayrettepe Station and transfer to Line M2 to Vezneciler Station, a 15-20-minute walk from Sultanahmet Square. Overall, the journey with the Istanbul airport metro to Sultanahmet will last around 40 minutes, plus an approximate 10-minute waiting time, as subway routes are frequent. However, please keep in mind that the Istanbul subway operates only from 06:00 am to midnight.
And if you want you can even let us know in advance and we can pre book an airport transfer for you.

We need a minimum of 9 or more travelers for the Trip Buddy to accompany. Incase there are lesser travelers, local guides as per the activities are provided + constant backend support from the team is provided.

Thailand New Year's Trip (30th Dec - 5th Jan) Trip N Tales team has a really unique itinerary for Thailand. It includes Khao Sok, that is certainly one of most stunning places I have visited. A good couple of days there to relax and soak up its colors, rawness and beauty. Trip leader Shubham was fun and experienced. However, the itinerary can be even better with a little more time to explore Bangkok, given that its a huge city with ornate shrines and vibrant nightlife.
