About Trip

Embark on “The Egyptian Escape”, a vibrant 10-day adventure for 18-39-year-olds, blending history, culture, and leisure. The journey begins in Cairo, where travelers meet and explore local markets like Khan-el-Khalil. A highlight is the majestic Giza pyramids, offering an optional camel ride and a visit to the Sphinx. The trip then proceeds to Aswan for a mesmerizing Nile River cruise, featuring stops at the Philae temple and the culturally rich Nubian Village.

In Luxor, the itinerary includes the enchanting Luxor temple and the historical Valley of the Kings, with an optional hot air balloon ride offering breathtaking views. The tour reaches Hurghada, known for its stuenning Red Sea, where participants can engage in scuba diving and explore the vibrant marine life.

The trip wraps up with a return to Cairo for a final night of exploration and farewells. This journey promises a mix of historical exploration, cultural immersion, and leisure activities, creating lifelong memories and friendships.

Itinerary

Day 1: Merhaba Cairo | Local Markets

Get ready to say ‘Merhaba’ to your new travel buddies as you touchdown in Cairo! Meet your crew and we will have a quick intro session. With no fixed schedule to hold you down today, you can head out to explore this fascinating city. Visit the famous Khan-el-Khalil market, take a stroll along the Nile river, or explore the amazing local food of Egypt. Binge on some Koshary and Kunafa or try the numerous street food joints. The shawarma and falafel is an all-time favorite too. Get some rest as we have a long day planned ahead tomorrow in this vibrant city!

Day 2: Day trip to Giza | Overnight to Aswan

Today is your day to see one of the Wonders of the World – yes, the pyramids it is. After a quick breakfast, we make our way to the mystical pyramids of Egypt. Get a glimpse inside the pyramids as we visit Giza for the iconic Pyramids. Here, you can choose to take a camel ride for the views of the pyramids. Later, we head the Sphinx for the perfect photo-op! After a quick lunch, you will have a couple of hours in between to do as you please before we embark on our overnight journey to Aswan. Get some rest before we enter the beautiful town of Aswan!

Day 3: Aswan - The Nile River Cruise

Today we hop on our amazing Nile river cruise for the next 4 days for some amazing views of this majestic river right from your room. After, freshening up we head out on a boat to explore the Philae temple and delve into its fascinating history and architecture. Later, visit the Nubian Village. Hidden along the serene banks of the Nile, the Nubian village is sure to charm you with its warm-hearted locals, color, and traditions. In the evening, we return to our cruise for some dinner and hangout with the squad or head out to see the music and fun-filled cultural shows onboard your cruise.

Day 4: Abu Simbel - Cruising the Nile River

We have an early morning start as we drive down to the historic site of Abu Simbel. Built by Ramses the great emperor, the towering statues are a site to behold. Return to your cruise as we set sail on the cruise to the next town. As we cruise along the Nile you can take a dip in the pool as you watch the town float by while sipping on some beer or watch those views from the comforts of your room. Optional: You can visit the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu if you like or have leisure time at the cruise itself. Post dinner, we put on our dancing shoes as we groove the local music by the Nubian tribe and delve into the culture of Egypt.

Day 5: Luxor

After a relaxed day on the cruise, we arrive in the beautiful town of Luxor. In the evening, we will head out to visit the iconic Luxor temple which just lights up at night and get to know about its fascinating history. Trust us, this temple is nothing short of magical when lit up at night. Later, you can either head out to explore the local markets of Luxor to get a glimpse into their local life or return to the cruise for dinner and some music. For people, wishing to do the hot air balloon the next day should get some rest.

Day 6: Hot air balloon | On to Hurghada

Rise with the sun and soar above the whimsical landscapes of Luxor in a hot air balloon, with stunning views of the desert (optional). After a quick breakfast, we head for a visit to the temple of Hatchepsut – the stunning queen of Egypt and visit the Valley of the Kings for some fascinating tidbits on the history of this mystical city. After a traditional lunch, we board our bus to the coastal town of Hurghada. After views of the desert and the river, the turquoise blue waters of the Red Sea are a must for all travelers.

Day 7: Scuba diving in Hurghada

Get ready for a day into the colorful marine world of the Red Sea. We set sail to the middle of the sea where you can click those Instagram-worthy photos with the aquamarine sea as the backdrop. Later, tick it off your bucket list as you take a plunge into the sea and have a rendezvous with the numerous fish and corals of the sea. What more could one wish for? In the evening, we head out to the Hurghada marina for a leisurely stroll, great music, and mouth-watering food.

Day 8: Day at leisure

Today, you have the day to yourself to
explore this town on your own. You can head out for some shopping and buy those souvenirs for your folks back
home or head to the beach and take a dip in the sea or relax by the lounge chairs. You can also head out for anATV ride. As the trip comes to an end, take a break from the activities and lay back as you enjoy the vibe of this town.In the evening, our last night in Hurghada, we paint the town red as we visit the famous bars and cafes and groove to the music on this nightout with your squad.

Day 9: Hurghada to Cairo

Say goodbye to this town of beachy goodness as we board our, rather long, bus to the capital of Egypt. After a wild night out in Hurghada, you can catch some sleep. We will reach Cairo by evening. On our last night in Egypt, we can head to the Nile riverside for an unforgettable dinner with your gang as you say those goodbyes and make plans to meet again soon. You can also opt to visit the market for some last-minute shopping and souvenirs for your folks back home. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10: Bye Bye Egypt

Time to bid adieu to Egypt and your newfound buddies farewell as we take off from Cairo! Head to the airport as per your flight timing and don’t forget to cherish the memories and keep in touch with your new pals. See you soon, folks!

No. Flights are not included. However we can guide you in flight booking.

From October to March it will be pleasant throughout the day. The temperature drops at night and it might get chilly but only in Meghalaya. We may experience some unpredictable showers but it just adds to the charm of Meghalaya.

You will have to arrive in Guwahati on the first day before 2pm and depart from Guwahati on the last day any time after 9 am.

We need a minimum of 9 or more travelers for the Trip Buddy to accompany. Incase there are lesser travelers, local drivers and guides are provided + constant backend support from the team is provided.

To give you an authentic local experience our stays will be a combination of homestays, lodges, resorts and bamboo huts. All the stays have private bathrooms for each room and are quite safe and hygienic. 

It is generally on double/triple/quad occupancy depending on the girl – guy ratio.
