About Trip

From Vibrant Bustling Citys to Tunnels, From Marble Mountains to Cococunt Basket Boat Rides, From the famous Lantern City to Halong Bay. Vietnam should be on the top of everyone’s travel list. It’s that simple. With its dramatic landscapes, fascinating history, epic food and pulsating energy, Vietnam will electrify all of your senses and seize you from all angles. Vietnam is at once crazy and serene, thrilling and relaxing!

Day 1: Xin Chau Ho Chi Minh City!

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City! Also known as Saigon, this vibrant and bustling city will greet you with sights and sounds of the city, which is a melting pot of influences from all over the world. Arrive at the hotel and check in. In the evening, meet your TNT tribe as we head out to explore the local street food of Vietnam. A classic Bahn Mi sandwich or a warm bowl of pho anyone? If time permits we also visit the Ben Thanh market.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels

Today, we take a step back in history and visit the Cu Chi tunnels. These are underground networks of tunnels that extend for more than 250 km which were used by the Vietnamese to fight the US Military during the Vietnam war. For an adrenaline-pumping experience, you also get the opportunity to fire real AK-47s/M16s at a shooting range. In the evening, we head out to Bui Vien street to explore the electrifying nightlife of Saigon and try out some delectable local cuisine.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Da Nang | Marble Mountains

Today after a leisurely breakfast we leave for Da Nang by flight. On the way from Da Nang to Hoi An, we visit the marble mountains one of Da Nang’s top attractions, and the five outcrops that make up central Vietnam. Visit the mountains to take in views of the landscape, and explore caves, Buddhist & Hindu grottoes, pagodas, and shrines. Later check in the magical lantern city of Hoi An for a stay of 3 nights.

Day 4: Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge

Today we escape the busy streets of Da Nang. Ascend the mountains of Ba Na Hills on one of the world’s longest and highest cable car rides. Cross the 150m Golden Bridge, an iconic architectural marvel, and take those insta-worthy shots. Later visit the French Village which is a replica of classical and romantic France. You can also pump your adrenaline with some of the rides there along with the alpine coaster ride through the hills. In the evening, we return to Hoi An and head out for a relaxed dinner by the river lit with lanterns.

Day 5: Coconut Basket + Night Market

Today we spend a day with nature in Hoi An. In the morning you can take your bicycles and ride along the countryside rice paddies. Later in the afternoon visit the stunning Bay Mau Coconut Forest. Hop on a basket boat and admire the beauty of the nearby river while enjoying shaking basket boat performances and some live music by the locals. In the evening, we take a walk along the old quarter with its beautifully lit up streets. Perfect insta-worthy shots are guaranteed.

Day 6: Danang to Hanoi | Night Market

Today after a leisurely breakfast we leave for Hanoi by flight – the capital of Vietnam for our 3-night stay here.

In the evening, we head out to the beer street which is simply the quintessential nightlife spot in Hanoi for locals, backpackers, and flashpackers. Binge on some beer or pho (noodle soup) and try its eclectic cuisine as we delve into the colorful culture and hang out with our fellow travelers. If time permits you can visit the local night market.

Day 7: Halong Bay

Today we head out to see the stunning views of UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site – Halong Bay. Get ready for exotic photos and absorb the magnificent natural splendors, limestone bedrocks, and sheer cliffs of tiny islands. Explore a limestone cave with gorgeous stalactites and stalagmites, and go kayaking through the grottoes and around the limestone cliffs. Later a fabulous feast awaits you onboard.

Day 8: Optional Ninh Binh Tour| New Year's Pub Crawl

Today you have the day to yourself to explore this city on your own. You can opt for a day trip to Ninh Binh or explore the local area and streets of Hanoi or go shopping in their markets to your heart’s content. After doing lof of research i chose to go to Vietnam trip through trips n tales. It was indeed an unforgettable experience, filled with cherished memories that I will carry with me for a lifetime. I got the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people from different walks of life. The ability of our Trip Leader (Aditi) to facilitate meaningful dialogues and create an environment where everyone felt comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences was commendable. Thank you Aditi for leading us on this remarkable trip to Vietnam. The beauty of vietnam from the vibrant halong bay to bana hills we saw under your guidance is worth mentioning here. Your passion for travel, dedication to creating meaningful experiences, and warm-hearted nature made this trip truly extraordinary for me. I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

I recently went to Vietnam with TNT, it was great enjoying, refreshing moments for me, made new friends & got to know what others r doing & sharing their past travel experience's. Our trip buddy Ms.Aditi was very cool, kind, supportive & has good experience in managing the trips, luv to travel with her again. Itinerary covered almost the entire Vietnam so no worry, stay was good except Hanoi ,leisure time was more on some days which should i recommend to add more activities otherwise were left to explore on own, the city tour/bus package(was cheap) can be added for each city in the Itinerary. I would luv to recommend TNT if ur solo/first timer to go in group.

I had a fabulous experience on my trip to Vietnam with Trips N Tales. They have very careful curated iternnary which gives you a wholesome experience. We were able to the cover all of the most famous and serene places, it was very well managed, stays were very nice and closer to the main city spots so we could just walk around and explore by ourselves as well. It was a good mix of planned activities and exploration time which I love when going in group trips. I met one of the coolest person, Aditi, also the trip buddy for this trip. She was there at all times and we had so much fun together. Lastly, I was never expecting to meet people who are now such close friends. Each and every person had such unique background and experiences to share and we all kept chatting late night by the beach. Loved the entire trip and experience. Definitely recommend them to everyone. All the best guys! Booking another trip soon.

I went to Bali with TripNTales and it was great experience as I could do lot of activities in this trip. Bali is a beautiful place and they covered most of it. The trip provided good stays at beautiful locations. I wish they remove the Mt. Batur trek because it is very difficult… Atleast it was for me and the view I had expected was not worth the struggle i went thru. I wish they properly manage Nusa Penida as the last ferry is at 3pm and covering all places is not possible. Hence including only 2 places should be enough to capture and live the gorgeous locations. We had to hop to all places and barely got any good time to live the scenic beauty. Food is an issue. In Ubud we got very less options but since gilli islands Nd further the breakfast was buffet hence no complains on that. Lunch and dinner is upto us and better go prepared as per the hotel location as you might lose lot of time searching for the places. Thé activities we covered were cycling, trekking, snorkelling, scuba diving and surfing. Looking back I believe the trip offered us all. The trip is hectic and there’s lot of travelling hence only those should opt for this itenary if they can handle the travel, getting up early, walking, cycling, trekking, etc. Hence not for ppl looking to only lie down or a leisure time! Would definitely recommend for active and enthusiastic travellers!!
